Xarelto available for Americans to buy from Canada?

Does anyone know if the medication Xarelto (blood thinner). can be purchased from a Canadian pharmacy and shipped to me here in the U.S.?

It’s going to cost me $300 a month (since there is no generic yet) to buy this drug for my cat. And yes, I know there are cheaper blood thinners (she’s already on Plavix.)

that's a lot of $$, if you have insurance can't you get a personal prescription for you from your PCP? just a suggestion, I just read it is a blood thinner for human consumption medication. I have had some prescriptions made by my PCP to my name and pay nothing/or co-pay if that is your case if you have health insurance. just saying, it could be an idea.

I also checked petsdrugmart.ca but they only ship within Canada.
