No limp today. But she pooped on the stairs landing again. Well, it's been a week, better than every other day! There was poop in her box as well.
Yesterday I gave her 1/2 tsp of raw egg yolk, and again this morning. She seems to love it.
For those who feed raw, how much water do you add every day? I've been addidng about 6 ounces a day, but it seems a lot. I read online that a cat should have 8 oz of water a day if they eat kibble. Her food is only meat, no water added. Thanks !

Good morning, Cecile! Sorry that Bella's winning streak of not pooping on the stairs has hit a restart, but I'm glad you got a week's break.
Raw egg treat, yum yum! Have a great day, you two :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you, Karen, have a good day as well! Today is the reverse of Monday: we are starting the day very cold (16 degrees, with a 6 degrees windchill, brrr) but will hit 50 this afternoon, and it's sunny, too!
I just ordered Cosequin. I think I will start mixing everything in advance to make it easier, it feels like I am making magic potions every time I feed her!

16, ouch. Bet that 50 will feel great! :cat:
I like your idea of mixing the magic potions in advance. Whatever makes life easier for the humble servants is all to the good!

Interesting question and one I asked Cleo's Vet this past weekend. FWIW, she generalized the answer to my question of "how much water should she drink a day?" and responded with a 4kg cat (approx 8.8lbs) eating wet food only at approx 80% moisture content per can, should consume an additional 2oz (60ml) of water a day. She then said that these are general guidelines and I should adjsut the amount to Cleo's weight and add more water if she shows any signs of dehydration or has hard to pass stools. So helpful/not helpful  because I'm not the best in math.
Not sure that helps with feeing raw food though.

Thank you, Angela! I gave her between 6 and 8 oz a day over the last week. Her stools are less dry and she’s been pooping almost every day (not yesterday) instead of every 2 or 3 days, and did not « cry » at all, soit looks like it’s better, but it feels like a lot of water!

She's very loud and insistent, I guess she must feel that she needs more food. 63 now at +4.
Tomorrow I'm away all day, leaving just after (technically even before, but we'll adjust the time) her shot. I might give her a smaller dose.

I add 3 ounces of water into each feeding 2X a day. Ivy only eats wet homemade food. No dry anything.
Bella likes you to notice her gifts on the stairs. She loves her momma :bighug::bighug:
