I hope so too!! He’s not been eating the last 2 days. He’ll eat but VERY little. I’ve tried everything I can to get him to eat so idk what’s going on. Surprised his blood sugar was so high when tho he didn’t eat basically at all today
 
Quick question for anyone who might know the answer. So bubbas has barely been eating the last couple days, maybe a couple bits in the am and the pm but he’s refusing EVERY food I’ve been giving him, even when I put the fancy feast in gravy in it. I’m starting to get really concerned, I’ve tried so many brands, different flavors, ect, so I ended up trying tuna tonight for his dinner. I bought the “in water” with low sodium, and I have been giving him just the tuna water over his food..it seemed to work at first but he barely ate again. So I decided to add some tuna into his food…is that bad considering he’s diabetic? I googled it first before I even bought the tuna, and it said that cats can have tuna but very little a day. I’m getting to a point where he’s going to lose a massive amount of weight if he doesn’t start eating. I truly don’t know what’s going on with him and it’s just getting frustrating, I’m wasting a lot of money constantly having to throw away food and open up a new can just for him not to eat it. I have some store bought Parmesan cheese in my fridge that I read I could give him? So I might try that. I’m really starting to get worried at this point and think something is going on. I don’t have enough money or the time right now to take him to the vet, I just don’t understand why he’s not only being picky, but he’s not even eating really the last couple of days.

Do you think it's a flare? I see he was diagnosed with pancreatitis? Does he get acid tummy? Have you tried giving him famotidine?

Thank you! He’s kind of starting to eat more. I started mixing in low sodium in water canned tuna, one of my last hopes to get him to eat, and he really liked it. Still didn’t eat his full dinner or breakfast (yet I guess I’ll see when I get home) but he seems to really like the tuna/tuna water. I’m also going to start giving him Cerenia every day because maybe he’s just nauseous and therefor dosent feel like eating. Hope something works because it’s breaking my heart to see him not eat. It’s funny tho because he’s right up in my face or my mom’s face whenever we’re eating human food, so he’s hungry and wants food but is maybe just being really really really picky with kitty food? Idk

Yeah, try the cerenia for a few days in a row. Gypsy takes it for 7 days sometimes. Maybe the pancreatitis is acting up. Will be praying for you both
