Good afternoon :)

Fistuk had a blue strike last PM and this morning till midday. Looks like a mini-bouncy from the lime party yesterday morning. We're third cycle on 1.75U.

The vet came today and gave Fistuk Solencia. She suggests to give it 3-4 times more to see how it works. She was happy to leave me with one vile so I don't have to pay for her visit to give it to him next time.

She said she sees improvement mainly in the way he stretches by himself and moves with more confidence. There's less sensitivity around his spine.

To impress her, Fistuk opened the bakery and filled the house with his aromas :banghead::woot: Well, she said she didn't smell anything which is good. She'd be happy if he starts opening the bakery every day but also said that since he's not moving much his metabolism slowed down and he has less bowl movement. She instructed me on few more PT exercises to raise his balance and help rebuilt his hind legs muscle mass.

Next month we'll do a full blood work.

I'm still recovering but I'm doing much better today in compared to the past days. Hopefully by Friday I'm fully recovered and ready to celebrate my BD :cat:

Wishing you all a wonderful day :bighug:

I'm glad you are doing better! It's hard to work with small children, you get all their germs :bighug:
Good news for Fistuk as well. I want to look more into Solencia for Bella. It is so cool to have the vet come to your house. it changed everything for Bella, she was getting so stressed, and I hated seeing her so miserable!

Hello Shelly and Fistuk!

So wonderful to hear he's doing better and I'm sure he will continue to improve with your care and love.
Beautiful cycle so far. Glad to hear you're also on the mend. Hopefully in a few days you will feel yourself again.
Happy Wednesday

Hi Shelly, happy early birthday to you! :bighug::bighug:
So glad that Fistuk had a good vet visit with the vet. I’m glad to hear she thinks he’s moving around better. Of course he had to show off and open the bakery. I’m sure she was so thrilled.
What a funny story.
Glad to hear you’re feeling better each day. I hope Fistuk continues to have a safe cycle and no more parties anytime soon.
Enjoy the day :bighug::cat::bighug:

Thanks, Cecile. I really turned a corner this afternoon and feeling better.
Yes, working with children is much about sharing germs :p
It made a world of difference to have the vet come home! Fistuk becomes so so miserable when going to the vet. He suffers from the travel. At the waiting room you could already see him shrinking into a corner, wanting to disappear.
i don't have any other experience than Solencia so I can't say if it's better than what you have. i seem to remember that you were quite happy with what you're using.

Hi Karolina :)
I feel like something has shifted this afternoon and I'm no such a limp anymore. I slept so much over the past day.
Fistuk was super cute the last few days when I was ho,e.
I hope you and Nestle are having a good day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You crack me up Shelly :p
That's a good report about Fistuk. Nice cycle so far.
Glad you're feeling somewhat better today.
Hope you're fully recovered for your Birthday , we need to celebrate :cat::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hi Diane :)
Happy to make you laugh with our little stories here. I can assure you the aromas were no joke, special edition :joyful:
It felt bad thinking I might not be able to celebrate especially since in my 50th, two years ago I was really badly sick. And Robert's 50th is on Sunday. So I wanted to be able to celebrate.
Might not be the plans we had in mind but this afternoon I feel that something would be doable.
Hope you and Tyler are having fun :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Staci :) We have time until Friday ;)
Fistuk was happy with her at first but after a while of being poked he started making some resentful noises. But it makes such a difference when he's at home and feel he can walk around or have breaks in between rather than being forced into a check on a cold, stainless-still table with lots of foreign smells. She told me she doesn't take any new clients any more so I felt blesses to get in the door at the last moment.
Fistzk's lime parties have become quite gentle. I don't like them but at least I take comfort in knowing he's easy to pick up.
Hope you and Ivy are having a good day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, I was, still am, she's on Adequan. But she's limping again, slightly and not all the time, since I stopped the Gabapentin :( she still jumps for butter or cheese, though.

:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful: LOL I laughed so hard at this! Good job, Fistuk. Welcoming gift.
A welcome gift is a nice way of putting it :joyful::joyful::joyful:

Glad to hear that he's showing some improvement! You do such a great job taking care of him!:)
Also happy to hear that you are on a mend. Take good care of yourself and drink lots of fluid!
Happy Wednesday, Shelly! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Thank you, Kit  I do my best for him.
It's nice to feel better! I made some veggie broth so I can get enough fluids and salts. It seems to help.
Happy birthday to mum Kit and baby Mikan :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I have to say this was an amusing condo! Good to read that Fistuk has good results from the Solensia and had such a good check up with your vet! Most vets aren't bothered by the "bakery" BTW, they have been barfed on, peed and pooped on, whatever. At least that's what my vet used to always say LOL!

ALways happy to give a good laugh, Ruth :joyful:
This vet is quite special, I feel lucky to have found her:bighug::bighug::bighug:
