https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/15-02-bailie-amps-495-4-307.286686/ Good morning I didn’t post yesterday but Bailie was high all day and continues to be so far .I must add that theDr.Elseys isn’t going over so well with Bailie as it’s all crumbly and I have to add a little of his old kibble so he will eat it which most likely is the cause of the higher numbers I think ? I have no ther choice he needs to eat .I’m still wasting hundreds of dollars by offering wet food at every meal and he only will eat the seafood Almo naturals . It’s not good for him to always have seafood is it ?

Hi Nancy, I would think Bailie is still bouncing from that very low event on 2/14. It can take up to 3 days/6 cycles to recover from that low bg.
So the highly numbers are quite normal bouncing.
I’ll let more expert people advise you on that food issues.
Also, you may want to note in your signature that the dental was completed and date (it says needs a dental still). That helps people know what’s going on with Bailie.

What I meant was you could write “dental done Feb xx” so people will know it was just done and that may cause lower BGs as a result of clearing out any infection. It’s good for someone reading to know it was just done. So I’d add that info in your signature :)
