Today is day 1 of 1.0u.

Saw a new vet today and am much more comfortable with him. Had a good 45 minute discussion and record review about Purrl and diabetes, and he was impressed with how we're handling things and what we already learned. He also mentioned using a Libre if we are so inclined at any point.

It was a very positive good visit, full of helpful info from him for all my questions and then some. I feel so much relieved and not like I'm floundering in new territory.

I also told him about this group and how it's been a lifeline for me and that's how I learned how to track, test and give a shot. We go back in a month, unless of course something changes and we need to get in before that.

Hope all had as good a day as Purrl and I did!

That’s a great report! So glad you and Purrl had a great day and you liked the new vet! :bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Staci. Not gonna lie, it's been a stressful couple weeks. :nailbiting:

I'm hoping for some smoother sailing now that we seem to have a home routine figured out for the time being. I know her numbers won't be smooth or without issue at times, but I definitely feel better with the backing and knowledge of the new vet.

Between you and FDMB and your new vet, sounds like Mini Purrl has a great team. It does take a few weeks, or even longer, to get everyone settled into a routine.
