Hello, I'm so bummed out. Tweety stayed pretty much in the 300s all day yesterday.
This morning is over 400. Libre only goes to 400 then just says "HI." I will check her later with meter but I'm guessing it's still very close.
The question: Does this happen after hypo events typically? You reduce the dose a touch and they get higher for a while? Do they end up going back down? How long should I wait?
January 26th hypo was fast and lasted a few hours. She stayed high for a week until we took her from 1u to 1.5 units. The 1.5 took her down way too fast so went to 1.25. Then boom a hypo 1 week later.
Reduced from 1.25u to 1u last Friday night. When she hit 60 last Friday I didn't respond well she overloaded carbs. I don't get "breaking a bounce" and reducing insulin. If she was trending down in a good way and had sudden drop... it isn't computing why we reduce the dose letting her get high again and then do this all over again, and again. I just don't get it.
I'm hoping this weekend after my last week in (intense!!) job training tomorrow I'll be able to absorb more.
I'm rambling. Thx for bearing with me.
