Yesterday's thread

A nice low blue this morning. I'm working from home until +4.5 this morning, so I decided I wanted to see how she would do on this dose feeding her as normal. She's doing pretty well so far this morning, down to greens by +2. Tonight is preview for our dance concert, so it starts a bit later, so I'll be able to get a +1 tonight before I need to head back in, which will be nice for food tweaking purposes.
In theory I go back up to 2.25 tomorrow evening since I'll be home to test (I don't typically attend opening night), but I'll probably wait until Friday morning so I can get to bed at a decent time tomorrow night.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Such beautiful cycles for Kit today. She looks great.
She's had better cycles on this temp reduction than I thought she would. I was worried she would be higher once I dropped.

Hi Alicia,
Glad that your work schedule will work out with the testing of Kit cat.
Great cycles yesterday.
Hope your production is going well!
Thanks, Kit. I was worried going into this academic year about being able to manage her during tech weeks, but now we're on our 3rd tech week of the year, and it seems to have been something that with a little planning works relatively well.
Dance concerts are such a different twist on what I usually do, so it's nice to just have to focus on lighting for a show. There's never really props (or not more than a couple), and almost never any scenery. So a more relaxing tech for me. And the choreographers, both student and faculty, always come up with such fun and interesting dances.

Good morning, Alicia, Kit is doing really well with all you are doing this week. And so glad you were home last night with her lovely cycle. She was glad to show you pretty green (Kit’s own production just for Mom) :D:D
The bonus of dance concerts. Each of the student pieces is less than 5 minutes, and faculty pieces are between 5 and 10 minutes, so 12 dances tend to go pretty quickly. Not being at the theatre until 11 or later is so nice. :joyful:

Beautiful cycle so far. Go sweet girl go!

I wonder if the addition of Adequan is making her more comfortable/less in pain and it's reflecting with her numbers. Did you ever start the Meloxicam?

With that 53 last night, I think waiting a couple of more cycles before increasing is a good idea. :)

We tried the Meloxicam for a couple of days, but it made her quit eating any food she tasted it in. So I stopped, and that was when we decided to try the Adequan. Well, I decided, the vet okayed it. She hadn't even mentioned adequan.
