2/7 SINVER. AMPS 322 +2 303 +5 244 +7 301 PMPS 368.+1 350 +11 267

Well I don't know what plan he is on today I let him rest from needle sticks and at +6 we see how he is doing...I want to test him for ketones but I never catch him in the bathroom...he is as usual but not as hungry as when he was high when he started...now he is hungrier is when he is low and that tells me I have to measure him to see how he is doing.

Good morning, Xelo. I agree with Angela…you’re doing so well with Sinver. And you have so much to balance in your household. Congratulations on doing such a great job with your sweet boy :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I read a thread the other day from 2006 or I can't quite remember the year that made me cry. To think that person had been struggling with her diabetic cat 6 years described what it is day to day for all of us. But she said that even though she had a different life than the rest of the world she had her cat by her side. Having a diabetic cat is not for life, my life is him, everything I do I do with him in mind...he is part of my family and I hope he will last me for years to come even though I have this condition. Have a good week, I am busy with final exams on March 15th I finish and I start my internship in a hospital.

Hi Xelo, good luck with the dose increase! I read Sienne's tribute once again and it does still bring tears to my eyes as it did back then. Sugar kitties have an extra special place in our hearts that is for sure. However, you are correct, they are so much more than their diabetic numbers, they are family. That's what I love about this forum, people here get it! Good luck studying and with your final exams, March is not that far away and super congrats on winning that internship at the hospital!!!:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

:gran abrazo::gran abrazo::gran abrazo::gran abrazo::gran abrazo::gran abrazo:[/CITA]
Yes Ruth when I feel sad, overwhelmed, I like to read the threads where people remind me of things I already know... and after reading Gaby's I always remember that thread and I hug my cat and tell him you have to stay with us for many years, because he is like another son, or if my baby was diabetic I wouldn't take care of him the same way... thank you for your words, you are very kind. Have a nice week...
