2/6 Karamelle AMPS 327 +5 193 +8 136 PMPS 114 +3.5 147

It's in this Sticky Note on the top of the forum:
Sticky What is the Insulin Depot?
Thanks. I just found that. I get it now. And get why the numbers can be so wonky. Just did a +8. Still dropping.
The other thing is the actual injection. Sometimes I can clearly feel the plunger push in, other times, I cant and wonder if the insulin even went it. Even tho shes a short haired cat, her fur is quite thick. I havent felt anything wet but I dont know, its such a tiny amount. Ive also been trying to rotate injection sites, but thats been problematic. Ive found it works better to just pull up her fur rather than a hunk of skin like when doing fluids. I seem to not get quite a deep pocket that way, if that makes sense.

I found the roll method really helped. Described with picture here: Testing and Shooting Tips
Thanks, I'll see if that might work better. PMPS is 114. Still dropping. I gave 1 unit because its not below 90. I assume thats right. Im a little worried tho. I'll never understand why it could be so high in the morning and then plummet throughout the day. Shes still eating well. Shes eaten a pouch and half today. About 132 calories of just wet. Doesnt seem like enough really. I hope shes eating something off the plates overnight. Im going to keep trying to eliminate the dry, but she may still expect it at night before bed. Thats when she usually likes to eat it.
Is there a benefit to doing TR over SLGS?

Is there a benefit to doing TR over SLGS?
TR is a dosing method that has been published in peer reviewed veterinary journals. SLGS was a dosing method developed here over time. Both methods have seen cats become regulated, some of which go into remission. The odds are higher with TR, though we see some with SLGS too. TR comes with some limitations, you have to be feeding an all low carb wet or raw food diet. No dry food is permitted. TR does allow you to increase sooner, but with that are some requirements for testing at least 4 times per day, twice per cycle. The choice of TR or SLGS really depends on people's lifestyle and goals for their cat's diabetes.
