Yes I do! Any BG under 40 is an automatic reduction. You can always increase again if needed.

Can you monitor tonight? Then go ahead and shoot.
You can also stall without feeding for 20-30 minutes since this is the first time you're shooting a 52 preshot.

My first 50s preshot, I stalled without feeding and tested again in 30 minutes. I eventually shot the full dose.
If you can stay awake to monitor and as long as you have the high carb food, you can shoot your new dose.
I might also give the 8% food but split it up for now, then a little more at +1 and +2.

As soon as he came up I only gave him a small spoonful of dessert from the 8% can he is hungry now I gave him 2 spoonfuls of dessert I don't think he will eat it after tasting the 8% junk food. I will measure him at +3 and if no change I will go to bed. Or maybe I should go to bed and get up at +6?

Yes it looks like he's heading up. Getting a +3 will be your guide if you need to set an alarm for later.
