Good morning,
Another pink am start. Yellow and pink cycle last night (fed mc dinner and snacks since I went out). Was the night cycle also bouncing from a lower blue cycle yesterday??

Back to regular low carb diet today. If no significant green action today the plan is an increase to 3.5u tomorrow.

It does look like a bounce but she had such a nice duration cycle yesterday! Paws crossed for a steady bounce clearing!

Did you get to sit with the nutritionists recommendations yet? I'm curious if you found some new advice or decided to just keep things as they are.
Is Ivy scratching at all any more? And how did it go with the animalbiome test? Lots of questions :joyful:

Ok thank you for confirming. She’s having a very nice, active bounce clearing cycle with lower numbers for her today. Hoping the duration lasts through the afternoon. Yesterday‘s duration was so great. Wish I could bottle that.
And of course it’s always wonderful to have a nice meal out. I truly appreciate the luxury. Have a great day, Marje :bighug::kiss::bighug:

So predictable….dose threat = low BG. :woot:
Did you test the 45 with the Contour? From looking at her SS, I’m not convinced she needs a reduction yet but without knowing the Contour BG, she’s well below your 70 reduction point on the Libre.

I know. They definitely can read and are always listening!!
I did not test the 45 libre.

(last week I had a 41 libre reading, which was 123 on Contour, so I felt it would be slightly higher.)
I was waiting for a dip to “Lo” but she didn’t drop to that range. Those readings are usually when I see a Contour value under 100.

I’ve never given her a reduction based on a Libre reading, only when I tested her on the Contour and saw a bg worthy of a reduction there. (Hence all the discussion). o_O

Am I still giving an increase tomorrow, based on today’s performance?
(Very nice Libre numbers in the would be mid 100s on handheld, but nothing under 100 on a handheld)
And of course a loss of duration/ bounce after those lows, around +7, +8 as per her usual :(

Hi Shelly, Ivy was reading again. She heard the threat loud and clear.
I did review the nutritionist report and for the moment I’m going to hold her food as is. She’s doing much better with that itching. I do have an alternative recipe if I need it.
She didn’t recommend testing as it’s really only an elimination diet testing that would work. She didn’t have me change any of her supplements at this time. So not sure I really learned much new. But I really like her and feel she’s very comprehensive.

I hope you and Fustuk and Prince are all faring well and getting some rest. I’m sure your new work schedule keeps you very busy. Hope you can get some rest to recover. And hope you’re enjoying the new job!
Ivy and I send our love to all of you. We miss you and the daily reports, but we know you will stop by when you have a minute to visit :kiss:

Hi Jason, thanks (it looks more impressive than it was, the 45 was on the Libre, so on a handheld meter it’s actually a higher number). But still have to pay close attention! :bighug::cat:

I would not raise the dose right now. Although you are doing a bit of custom dosing and the Libre reads lower at low numbers, she’s likely still below 150 on a hand held meter. Let’s see how she does the next few cycles after she clears any bounce.

Ok, thank you. I did not increase and she’s already sliding down quickly from her amps. Looks like an active morning ahead. :bighug:
