This is 3 days of shots.
So my question is, is this moving in the right direction? Good, bad? I've read quite a bit here, but still not sure what to expect.

I will try to get at least one more test tonight. For some reason, she just is fed up with pokes by the +9 mark. Twice I've been unable to get a test. I've resorted to using a drop of Bach's before testing as she likes to jerk away in anticipation of the ear prick. :(

I'm also the one who was very nervous giving her 1u, as per vet, and opted for half. Maybe I was overly cautious?

The depot takes 5-7 days to build. Then we see if this was a good starting dose. With SLGS you started with the correct dose.

Yes, patience is a must. If only patience was as easy to have as it is to say. When Tango was first diagnosed, I can't tell how many times hubby and I went into panic mode. It does get easier. What always helps me panic a little less, is this forum. Honestly I don't know what we would've done without all the awesome guidance that everyone has provided. Over time, the wackiness of BS #s, especially the lows, aren't as worrisome as you get more familiar with your kitties cycles.

If you have a questions, ask. Never think you should know, or not ask because you already did and forgot.

Have a good evening:cat::cat:

Looks like she might be headed for blues (100's) tonight. :cool:
Her PM at 3.5 was 207, and that was the last test I did for the night. So she may have. I am for sure anticipating those better numbers!

Thank you. I think at the moment I'm more panicky about testing. I have finally discovered she's not a good prick on the back of the ear - too many tries without success. So trying the front for the last two tests seems to work better for her. I don't want to unnecessarily stress her. She's a good girl, but I'm sure she's also feeling my trepidation and reacting to it. It helps that husband is ready with the meter. She takes the shot like a trooper and doesn't even feel it. If only the ear prick went as nicely. As of right now, it's still a two-person job. :banghead:

Miini Purri sounds a lot like Tango. Tango doesn't even notice the shot but testing is a little trickier. My husband can do both on his own, but I absolutley need his help. We always tell Tango we're sorry when we prick his little ears. I told hubby we say sorry to the cat more than to each other. lol
