Yesterday's thread

She's racing back down again today, but I'm mostly just glad to see her back to mostly dark green. I'll be taking a temporary 0.25 reduction tonight to make next week easier since I can't monitor in the evening.

I have another hypothetical I was thinking of last night. Pretend it's tonight. I've taken a 0.25 reduction. She drops below 40. Do I take another reduction, or stay because she would still be working off the larger depot? Thoughts?

Also - happy groundhog's day! I hope you aren't stuck in a loop that lasts a ridiculous amount of time.

Yikes on the snoring. Sounds like he needs a study. He’s a major sleeper with those alarms. That’s rough for you, already sleep deprived. I’m sending you major empathetic support, Alicia.

I’ve also noticed that if DH has had a drink or 2 on a Saturday night when we go out to dinner, there’s more heavy snoring than the usual snores during the rest of week, when no drink was enjoyed. :rolleyes:
Oh, he definitely does. That would require him to be proactive. And because he's stubborn, if I try to convince him, he'll just go harder in the opposite direction. :rolleyes: I don't remember if he snored more or less after having a drink or two, but neither of us really drink anymore? We stocked up for the pandemic, thinking we would want to be drinking since we were stuck at home, and then neither of us did. So now it's a super rare occasion to actually have even a drink.

Good morning Alicia.
I too am curious about what to do in your hypothetical situation.
I'm sure there is some degree of individual judgement call involved. If it gets super duper low, we probably have no choice but to go down.
How about 38? 35? Not too difficult to get her back up? The protocol says automatic reduction, but still. I would really be curious about how people handle the situation.
@Wendy&Neko @Bandit's Mom @Angela & Cleo @tiffmaxee Please?

Sometimes my brain latches onto a question, and I can't find any information because I can't pick the correct search terms. They're not necessarily deep questions that could cause existential crises like does our brain think or do we( :p ), but I think my brain might melt if I started in with those.

Same problem. Knowing precisely what to search. Will be interested in the answer advised. Great question, Alicia!!
Have a safe surf Kit and a great Furriday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

If she went to 30's and you didn't reduce, how confident would you feel leaving her at home more as you move into days when you cannot monitor as closely? Safety is always first.

Hi Alicia, Kit is looking good, smart move to reduce since you can't test
well in the PMPS early hours.. Have a nice night :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Thanks Diane - she's had some pretty good runs of blues! I'm actually not super upset she's staying a little higher tonight - I have a little bit of a cold going on and going to bed a bit earlier would be stellar.
