2/1 Mikan AMPS 342, +2 222, +4 129, +5 87, +7 77: PMPS 180

1/31/24

Good morning.
Needing extra :coffee::coffee::coffee: this morning after a super active cycle last night.
Unfortunately, Mikan resorted her old fav trampoline to jump back up this morning
Let's see if she can get down again!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Good morning, Kit. Sending you :coffee::coffee::coffee:
What a night. Great job there. Milan had a beautiful cycle :D:DDid you feed to keep her stable? Or did she just ride that green wave?
I hope you can get some rest today. You were up late.
Hugs for you and Mikan. Have a safe cycle today and she puts away her trampoline

Good morning Staci!
I probably could have gone to sleep earlier in retrospect. I fed her 1tsp 13%MC at +3 (hence up at +4) but she did okay afterwards.
It's a relatively calm and relaxed day for work so I might catch a few winks later ;)
Hugs back to you and Ivy. Wishing you a lovely day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

That was a nice run of greens last night! I see on your SS you also started a new vial - maybe new vial will mean lower numbers? :bighug:

Every time I switch to a new pen, I know in my brain the last drops were working, because I'm still seeing it in her numbers, but there's a part of my brain that is like, but this is NEW, so maybe better? Faster? Stronger? Go get that diabetes new bottle! I could also be very sleep deprived, and slightly loopy. 6 of one, half dozen of another, honestly. :joyful:

Got it. Glad the carbs kept her nice and safe. I hope you can take a little rest today.

Hi Alicia,
I know. I feel the same. Even though there is no reason to believe that the old stuff was losing its effect, it FEELS like a new one ought to be fresher and stronger. Funny how our sleep deprived brains think. Wait, is it our brains that think or do we think? Aaargh. More coffee :coffee::coffee::coffee: ma'am? Yes please!

Woah. That's a pretty in depth question you're postulating at such an early hour, ma'am! It's days like these that I wish I liked coffee. Smells great. Tastes terrible. It's also days like this that I question why I'm trying to wean myself off caffeine (so much tea is drunk by me instead of coffee).

It's so hard to wean off anything. I at least weaned off from PM coffee. It's like a Cinderella deal. At 12:00 you are done! (except it's noon, not midnight :p) .
Trying to drink more water but hey, it's so boooooring.

Good meowning
Such a busy girl. Snorkeling last night and trampoline this meowning. But looks like she's all tired out and ready to nap on the beach for a bit.

Hopefully all the coffees are working to get you through today :bighug::coffee:

I had my first bout of kidney stones my senior year of high school (almost 24 years ago, yikes!). I had them another three times, and the last time was 2013. I only say all that, because it meant I had to find a way to drink more water and make it palatable. I found I had to have it really cold, and if it's filtered (especially if your water isn't great - we have really hard water), I've found I actually like it. I just like tea more, but I have to get back to more water than tea, because I fear the kidney stones. Legit the worst pain I've ever felt. So definitely always team drink more water. :bighug: If it helps - my mom also finds water boring - she adds little flavor drops (I think she uses something called mio).

Hi Karolina,
Isn't it amazing that we are already into February!
I'm all for passing winter as fast as we can and getting to spring (but alas, it doesn't slow down there....)
Mikan started high but came down nicely this morning :) Hope she can stay there!
Have a lovely day, Karolina! :bighug:

Yikes, kidney stones! I never had one but I know some people who did. You are right, pain is unbearably horrible. :spam::spam::spam:
Yes, you need to keep drinking H2O! I've been using some of those electrolyte powder thingy. I tend to cramp up so good to compensate anyway.
I also use sliced lemon marinated in honey in noncaffeinated tea like rooibos tea (full of antioxidant - supposed to keep you young forever, right?).

I'm with you. Can't wait for spring and balcony time with my kitties :bighug::cat::p

Afternoon Kit, coming down nicely I see, Let's keep it low blues and high greens Mikan ,no trampoline tonight :cat:
Have a nice day Kit :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Hi Diane,
She's holding up nicely so far. I have to get to work now but told her to stay put.
She's too busy to listen to me though. She dug up her fav springy toy from somewhere and chasing it around the house like there's no tomorrow :p
Hope you are having a great day, Diane! :bighug:

Nice cycle today Kit once she kicked the trampoline out of the way. Have a safe surf tonight and a calm evening. Boring, even would be nice. :bighug::bighug:

Hi Kit:)
I see you've had quite a few active nights in a row. How are you doing? did you manage to catch up with some cat naps?
Happy to see Mikan making a shorter trampoline jump. It must be a relief.
Wonderful to see she's having lower PMPS as well.
Hope you're doing well :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly!!!!:):):)
It's been so strange - high AMPS, gradually descending down to a nice PMPS and green BGs, only to jump back up to high AMPS. Repeat.
Mikan just can't help herself - she loves that darn trampoline
We'll see how long she will keep doing this pattern.
Hope you and Fistuk are doing well! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
