Of the 14 days Kit has been on her current dose, she's dropped into the 40s six times. Today is the first time she didn't come up after the first test in the 40s when I fed her higher carb food. Am I being risky by not taking a reduction? Or am I good to continue?
This next week is pretty okay for monitoring, but a week from today I go into tech for a dance concert, and in the evenings will only be able to test at PMPS and then won't be home until +3 if I'm lucky, but probably closer to +4. If I stay the course with her dose, a temporary reduction would be wise for then (unless she truly earns the reduction by going under 40), right? My bf hasn't learned to test, and I know he'll freak out if she's dropping low if he does, and I won't be the most available to coach him through it. If I did the temporary reduction, how soon before next Sunday would I start so the depot isn't in play?
It may be wise to do a temp reduction but I'll leave it up to the ones who are a bit better at that kind of advice. If she will eat snacks while your gone maybe from an autofeeder? It may be ok to leave her where she is at since technically she hasn't earned the reduction. If it were me I'd probably leave food with instructions to dh to make sure they ate if he couldn't test.
I agree with Rain and a temporary reduction based on ability to monitor. I'd ask again though about 4 cycles before you'll be less available to Kit. A week is a long time in FD. She may just earn the reduction she's been teasing between now and next Sunday.

How hard was it to get her up over 50 again? Did she come up after the second bit of HC? or did it take more? She's still quite high 40's. I might hold this dose until a couple days before you can't monitor as well. Unless of course she dips below 40 before then.

Kit cat is toying with the high 40s but still in the safety zone, looks like. And once up, she lingers around in dark green.
I like what @Wendy&Neko suggests - as long you are here to monitor. You have done a great job managing her high limes.
But sure, next week when you have that assignment, best to be safe, of course.

She came up after the second bit of HC. She usually comes up after the first bit, and because I fell asleep unintentionally after the first test at +2, I was surprised she was still in the 40s an hour later (I should know better to think I can lay on the couch occupying myself on my phone when I'm tired - stay upright, Alicia!).
I'll check back in on Thursday or Friday.
The bf is gonna have to bite the bullet on testing soon, though - he has to do it while I'm out of town in March for 4-5 days. He's reticent - he doesn't want to hurt her.
Oh! And, the meds missing in the mail? They came today via USPS. They were two day shipping through UPS, and all previous two day shipping through UPS has come directly to my door from UPS, anything longer and it gets handed off to USPS to deliver. Not that there was any correct tracking for them since it didn't get scanned when they picked them up from the pharmacy (it's the only thing I can presume happened). Still, managed to get here. And the fast tracked order will be here tomorrow. So I definitely have a buffer to work with, which takes a huge load off.
