Good morning all,

A very nice start for once. Especially after the hideous bounce cycle yesterday AM cycle!
Last night she broke her bounce very nicely!

Let’s see what’s in store today.
I have the appointment next Monday with the nutritionist because she was biting and itching so much. Since I changed her tee shirt to her tube top the itching has subside. She now had access to her chest, full arms and shoulders. She is so much happier. Not constantly licking and biting at all.
(I think she just was frustrated and hated being covered up. Poor baby! It’s such a shame I have to keep her Libre covered up. Some cats don’t mess with the sensor. But not the high strung Miss Ivy
So I don’t think I need to change her diet from lamb to turkey at this point. I will keep the appointment and have her formulate the turkey novel protein recipe, just in case I do feel I need it. (I already prepaid for the whole thing!)
But we can go over many different things anyway.
Hope you have a safe surf day with your kitties.
We finally got a little snow overnight. Woke up to white. Looks pretty and hope it’s ok to drive later this afternoon. I need a haircut!

Good morning Staci!
What a fantastic cycle Ivy had last night! Near perfect
Good start this morning but maybe a bit of a bounce coming your way?
Hope she will stay put and clear it soon!
So happy to hear that Ivy's happier and less itchy with a tube top!
Someone ought to come up with a patchy cover for feline libre use!
Drive carefully out there - could be slick! Enjoy our haircut! (I always fall asleep HARD at the shampoo seat :p)

Good morning, Kit, I agree last night was really nice. I hope she has another nice cycle.
She’s angry with me this morning because I clipped her nails, so I got some good scratches on my legs but whatever, I’ll survive that. :blackeye:
It is interesting with the Libre, some cats or dogs don’t even touch it and others will rip it right off. I had her pull one off one time I left it uncovered. It took her only a few minutes, when I came back to check on her, it was off. I learned my lesson very quickly.

Trying to figure out what works for your specific pet is always the trick isn’t it?

I’m looking forward to my haircut today and a brief escape from the house for something other than household errands. A Wee little bit of me time will be nice.
Hope you all have a wonderful day :bighug::):bighug:

Morning Staci, I'm happy to her Ivy isn't constantly licking or biting .
I guess it was the tee all along causing her to lick and bite, who knew that could have been that.
Glad to hear you're going to keep the nutritionist appt so you can go over everything .
Tyler is a good boy when I cut his nails but right after I put him down he will attack my ankles lol.Weirdo :p
Now I know as soon as I put him on the floor I know not to walk past him , I'll say to him don't even try it lol
Ivy had a nice start this morning.
We had some snow here in N.J. only about 3 inches .
It does look pretty.
Enjoy getting your hair cut, When they massage the shampoo in I could fall asleep lol
Have a nice day and safe driving :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Diane, I know what you mean about them biting your ankles. They are weirdos. I don’t know why they feel they need to do that. I guess they need to be in control and we have taken away some control when we dare to cut their nails.
I do hope it was just a behavioral thing about the T-shirt with the itching but I’m trying to watch her closely to see if there’s any change in her behavior. She still licks, but it’s not the maniacal, licking and biting she was doing and she seems so stressed out. She seems a little bit more relaxed (she’s never too relaxed because she’s a pretty hyper cat )

I know what you mean about the shampoo. Going to try to enjoy that five minute massage. I’ll take whatever I can get. :joyful:

Hope you and Tyler enjoy the pretty snowy winter scene out the window today :bighug::cat::bighug:

Good meowning Staci and Ivy.
Beautiful start to your day. Hope she keeps going this way in the cycle. Also glad to hear she's less itchy lately. Hopefully it was just the t-shirts.
Have fun at your hair appointment today. I also need a haircut but just haven't had time

Hi Staci:)

Nice to see Ivy staying quite flat today. Not going up too high or diving. A great day!
I'm so happy to hear that the itching keeps lessening and he's not going back to it. As you said, makes sense that she just didn't like being covered and was trying to get rid of the cover.
Sounds like a good plan, to keep the nutrition appointment and get others things covered. We're never short of inquiries do we :joyful:
It's so nice for me to wake up to a white covered land. I hope you like it too. We had some sun and the snow is mostly melted. But themps are really low. I went for a walk this afternoon and it was like walking in a giant freezer.
I hope you're having a good day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly, it’s also very cold here today. I’m glad you got to take a nice walk. I’ll bet that was lovely.

I had to drive about a half hour to get to my appointment, and the roads were not terrific. I just took my time and went very slowly. It was good to get out for a little bit though.
I’m back in again tomorrow working from home. It looks like Ivy will be active tonight if I had to guess because she pretty much was flat yellow all day. Usually she’ll have an active cycle after a flat yellow day .
I hope you are all having a peaceful night.
:bighug::bighug::bighug:

She hjad such a beautiful blue night! I hope you enjoy your me-time today, Staci!
Thanks Cecile. She did have a nice blue night last night. let’s see what she has in store for tonight, right? I hope Bella is doing well today and that you’ve had a nice day as well :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Karolina! It was nice to get a haircut. And take a little drive while seeing the pretty snow. The roads weren’t great, but all was ok.
Hope you all had a nice day and that Nestle enjoyed some time at the beach with some friends. Have a nice cozy evening. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm glad to see that Ivy's itching has gotten better - that's so good to hear! And she's having such a good cycle so far!
Thanks, Alicia! She seems somewhat better. My sassy girl. I just keep watching her to see how often she licks. I forget what her normal grooming is like since she was licking so aggressively for so long.
Just hope I’m not overlooking anything. It’s so exhausting trying to figure out everything, isn’t it??
I hope you and Kit cat had a wonderful day!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yeah, I'm not sure I could remember what a lot of normal was.
It was certainly a busy day. And she actually dropped a green PMPS, so of course I'm not gonna panic a bit about that. Oof. Better this week than next though!
