I gave her the Adequan's injection today, her joints are clicking again and she is not limping, but seems more hesitant before jumping. It's been only 3 weeks, but I don't think she got the full dose last time. It's hard to get the last few drops, and it's expensive so i don't want to lose any.
@Diane Tyler's Mom he knew the word, but with a military/navy meaning of 'empty tanker" :D that made him laugh.
I am from Lyon. Not very far from Italy. My grandmother was from the Alps and the language her grandparents spoke, Savoyard, is derived from Italian. Savoie, the region she was from, is also where the italian royal family was from. My mother in law was from Milan.

Hi Cecile, a lovely cycle for Bella. I hope the Adequan helps her feel good.
Thanks for the French & Italian lesson. Love hearing such interesting stories. :bighug::bighug:

Happy Saturday, @cecile & bella and @Diane Tyler's Mom! That's so funny that gavone comes from filling an empty tank, whether it's your stomach or a ship.
Cecile, I hope the Adequan is helping to restore Bellla's athletic confidence. Chispa doesn't really jump anymore -- for her the difference is between climbing up on chairs etc. vs. staying completely earthbound. I just want her to feel like a cat.:cat::bighug::bighug:

@Karen and Chispa Bella stopped jumping too when she was first diagnosed, she used to jump on windowsills and look at the birds, she does not do that anymore, now she watches them from the floor. But she will jump on chairs and counters. I hope Chispa feels better too!
@Fistuk & Shelly I moved in 2003. I met my husband in France, he is American but lived there for 15 years, we lived 5 years together and then he wanted to come back and I followed him. What about you?

I left Israel in 2012. I met Robert an Aikido seminar in Vevey, cond^sidered to be the Swiss riviera. Maybe you know it.
He loved with me one year in Israel. Then we were all over the place... We spent three year more or less on the road, mainly in the East. We lived in Italy for a year and a half and then to Switzerland. In Feb it'll be 8 years here.

I drove through Vevey but never stopped there. My friend lives close to lausanne, she was in Morges for a few years and now she's in a smaller village higher but closer to Lausanne. I went to Geneva several times, and used to drive through Switzerland to go from Nancy where I lived, to Sallanches and St Gervais where I worked for a few summers.
You moved a lot too. I would love to go to Israel one day, I have a few friends here who are from there or have family there, and I hear it's beautiful.

Yes I did move a lot... Nice you have Israeli friends over there! Do you miss being in Europe?

Sometimes, but mostly no. I lived here 20 years, I moved when I was 30, so most of my adult life has been here, my kids were born here. I miss the way of life, people are more relaxed in France. And my family, too. We have friends from a lot of places here, it's nice.

Tonight my kids had fun with Bella, a drone, a piece of string and some cheese attached to the string. She ran and jumped :) so mission accomplished!
