AMPS 354

I am not sure what is going on with Bubbas. He hasn't pooped since yesterday morning, and he's been eating but not as much as usual...super super super picky. I gave him a whole can of fancy feast gravy last night and he ATE that up! But literally everything else he side eyes and only eats a couple of bites or none at all..I now have to take back all the Tiki Cat I got him yesterday and figure out something else he will like...this is getting extremely frustrating. I don't know where this is all coming from. I cant have him only eat the gravy flavors because that is way too high in carbs. I feel lost.

He actually pooped a good amount this morning. I went out and returned the Tiki Cat and got him some Frisky’s pate. I also got him some chicken bone broth in a pouch from the cat food brand Applaws..HE LOVES BOTH!! He likes the bone broth topped by its self (so now I know what to put in his food if he’s being picky) and he really like both of the flavors of the Frisky’s pate I got him!! I only got one can of each flavor, I also got him Wellness complete, a couple cans of that, and some fish flavor fancy feast, I wanted to just get a variety of flavors and brands to see what he’ll like and so far he’s loving Frisky’s! Also his poop today was nice and brown. I thought he wasn’t pooping due to him not really eating the last couple of days. I’m going to go to the store tonight or tomorrow and get more Frisky’s then I’ll go to PetSmart tomorrow and get more of that bone broth topper.

I still think that, but in the past he’s never passed up a fish flavor food. And at this point if I have to pick , I would rather give him food he’ll eat even if it’s fish. I am not 100% sure though he’s allergic to it since he’s had fish flavor food his whole life. I still try to find food that has no fish in it but again he’s being VERY picky the last couple days, so I bought fish flavor so at least I can guarantee he’ll eat.
 
Being allergic to something can cause inflammatory issues in the bowels if they eat it. My IBD kitty likes eating what she can't eat either. I just had to find alternatives, or toppers that make it enticing.

I just can’t say if he is allergic. I noticed that when I started feeding him a lot of fish flavor food he started getting those scabs. The scabs are back and he hasn’t had any fish flavor at all for months. So it made me think the fish wasn’t the problem if the scabs are back and he hasn’t had anything fish. I bought the fish flavor just as a back up. I’ve tried to find alternatives but it’s getting very expensive! Not only trying to find a flavor he’ll like and to also make sure it has no fish. It’s just been a lot but I’m trying my best for the budget I have!
