Yesterday's thread

We increased this morning, and she's decided to have an active little cycle so far. She started with a blue AMPS which was nice, and is already down at good green levels. So we'll see how she does. I'm no longer going to a birthday party today (the now 2 year old got the mom sick, so they're postponing), so I'll be around all day to monitor.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday!

In summary, if 9-10% food keeps a kitty flatter, then go for it.

edited to add: I want to share this great post that has probably gotten lost over the years but it has some good links and discussion regarding managing the curve with food.
Marje - thanks much for the link. The current experiment for me is just trying different percentages that are higher LC to see what will slow her roll. I'm mostly playing with 5-7% or 8-9% depending on how big her drop might be (like if she's below 200 at preshot I'll stick with 7 or below at +1 and maybe +2, but if she's higher than that I'll go with higher since she can have a harsher drop at that point).

That's absolutely normal and reasonable. We just want to see our babies doing well and healthy. To be sad is to be a caring human :bighug:
Normal? I so rarely get called normal! :bighug::bighug::bighug: (It's okay, I embrace the weirdness :joyful::joyful:)

Love Kit cat's face.
Thanks! I do think she's the bestest, most prettiest, most softest baby that ever did was, but I *might* be slightly biased.

(Sorry to hijack your post, Alicia.)
No worries! Get your info where you can! :)

Wow beautiful numbers so far.
Good luck with the increase and we wish you both a peaceful and relaxing sunday

And now we're running to grab some Indian food, so I'm gonna leave some 9% out right before we leave, since sometimes the takeout orders take way longer than they anticipate (but dang is it so good).
