Do it Diane, you don’t want Shingles. It’s very dangerous. I had shingles and no fun. But it can be really bad as we get older. Just my 2 cents.
Cecile, I hope you will feel better very soon. I am sure you will. :)

I feel much better already, thank you, Staci! Just enough now to justify lazying on the couch with a blanket and a cup of tea :) it's sad outside, snow but not quite, grey and cold. I hope we get at least one big snowstorm, I don't like that pseudo-winter!
Bella is staying flat at 72, I like that!

Happen to be going for routine blood this month, I'll talk to my doctor about getting it .
I sure don't want to get shingles ,you can give me your 2 cents anytime :cat:

Hi Cecile can I ask you what side effects did you get from the vaccine, also did you have to get 2 shots? That's what it said when I was reading about it, if you're 50 yrs and older

Yes, that was the first one. The second one is after 6 months. I felt very tired, pain in my arm, pain in joints, and I had a fever last night. so nothing too weird. Apparently the younger you are, the most likely it is you will have side effects.
My husband did his last year, he was 52 and just had some pain in his arm.

I was just super tired for a few days. I got the shot on a Friday so I could recover over a weekend and made sure I was home with no plans. I had both shots also, like Cecile mentioned. My husband had same reaction as me, just very tired. Hope this helps! :)

Thank you Cecile,:bighug: well since I'm 67 ( not happy about that :p) but I really don't feel 67 lol, so hopefully the side effects I'll get won't be bad
