? 12/15 Bubbas AMPS 318 +10 306 PMPS 299 -sneezing/wheezing

Can someone help me out? I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but bubbas has been doing this sneezing/wheezing all morning. He’s done it like 4-5 times now. It’s like a sneeze but it’s sound like he’s wheezing. I don’t know if I should take him to the vet or not? At first it was almost like intense sneezing fits but now it’s little sneezes

I'm glad you're at the Vet's office. Let us know how it goes. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Well overall they think he either got something stuff in his nasal passage or has a nasal infection of some sort. I couldn’t afford to do the CT scan and Ultrasound and stuff they suggested so cheapest option they said was to give him Cerenia nasal drops in his nose every 12 hours for 5 days. If he had some sort of infection it won’t clear it up or anything, this is just masking the symptoms. So praying that whatever this is goes away tonight or tomorrow because if not I have to spend money that I don’t have to take him back to doctors to get diagnostic testing

I'm happy you took him to be checked. Shaking def sounds like a reason to go and see what this could be. It sounds to me as well as something got stuck in.
If you have access to colloidal silver you can give him to nebulise. When I do that to Fistuk it helps him with the nasal infection. I put him in the box i use to travel to the vet, cover it with a towel and leave the tube in through the door so he inhales it. You might be able to borrow a nebuliser if you don't have one. perhaps someone with children or maybe even your local vet can lend you (one of mine used to do that)
I oray that it'll pass quickly and that it's easy to treat :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you for the advice. He seems to be doing better. His eyes are still watering but he isn’t doing that sneezing wheezing thing much.

The cheap solution to a stuffy nose is to put him in the bathroom for a while with a running hot shower and steam. Hope he gets better soon.
I think I’m going to do that. He is still doing that sniffling thing, he was doing good for a couple hours. But he still isn’t shaking , no watery eyes or intense sneezing. I really feel like he’s super stuffy

Update: I ran a hot shower and about 10 mins later I went in the bathroom with me and him and closed the door for about 5 mins. It was getting tooo hot in there and I could only last for that long. He’s had like 2 bad sneezing or whatever fits since we got home and the last one about 30 mins ago left one of his eyes sooooo watery. He’s better now..he’s doing this like “blowing your nose” sound…like he’s trying to blow his own nose. I googled it and it sounds like he has some sort of infection. I called the ER that I took him too to see if I can get him into see his PCP asap, but they don’t have an opening until Jan 2nd. I called his old vet and they can get him in Tuesday. He was doing really good until I took him into the steaming bathroom. I’m still going to do the Cerenia nasal drops every 12 hours as instructed and praying that helps. I told the vet since I got fired from my job last week I’m SUPER low on funds so they said they can try to do simple blood work or a swab to at least try to indicate if there is an infection. My poor baby needs a break. First it was diabetes, then pancreatitis, and now this. I’m hoping he just has a tiny bit of wet food stuck in his nose, and he’ll sneeze it out or something, or the cerenia drops will help..feeling very overwhelmed

Oh Katrina I’m sorry Bubbas isn’t feeling well and you are so stressed. We understand how you are feeling. It’s so scary when we don’t know what to do to help them. You got some great advice here and it’s good you see a vet today.
I’m praying the meds will work and he will feel better quickly.
You did the right thing by having him seen and posting for help and ideas.
Sending you hugs of support for you and Bubbas. Please keep us posted. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
