I am happy to announce that Smudgeroni no longer has a 'roni! His wound is 100% healed! After 6 months, there's no scabbing anymore, just healthy pink skin. Hoping his hair begins to grow back soon. I would post before and after photos, but the before is not for the faint of heart.

Yay! I'm not sure what happened, but am happy to hear that Smudge is healed! Well done to both of you!

Oh my gosh! I just read it! Poor Smudge. I'll never understand people who have a cat and then get rid of it without even finding it a proper home. Why would they just dump him like that? That's so sad. Thank goodness for you and your mom (and the rest of your neighborhood)! I'm so glad you're keeping him now. I looked at his chart and it seems like he's doing really, really well! That's so awesome to see. What an amazing story you both have.
 
I had never read smudge’s story, how lucky he is to have found you! And vice versa as well as I’m sure he’s brought you joy and laughter! Such a sweet story and so happy he’s doing so well!

He's brought me so much I didn't realize I needed. He is so similar to my boy I lost a year ago, that it is uncanny. He was sent to me for a reason I think. :bighug:
