Increased last night to 15u. Have a meeting this afternoon but able to monitor most of the day.

All the 5Ps are good. He looks happy so on we go.

Ooops on the AMPS!

The IM Vet said to give him 1.0 -1.75 tsp Metamucil BiD (!) That's what he was on for those number of days. The regular vet suggested cutting back, which I did starting yesterday. She also recommended B12 and gave me a few syringes. I'll wait a day or so on that but I have them.

So far today he has not used the cat box again except to pee. Let's hope...

Have Eddie's B12 levels ever been tested? It's a simple blood test to Idexx. I wouldn't supplement B12 if his levels aren't low. I've seen some references to extra B12 contributing to cancer. Not that he has it, but more a precaution. Plus, why give something if he doesn't need it.

I've heard 1/4 to 1/2 tsp twice daily for psyllium powder. I know Eddie's big, but.... Glad you cut down.
