Good morning,
Amps 397
I guess Ivy earned her pink start from the lows she had again yesterday morning.
It was a bit of work to keep her from going too low, but we ate some carbs through it!
This am dose is 6th since reduction, so perhaps we can now see what this 2.75 unit dose will do.

Have a safe surf today cool cats. And a mellow day to all pawrents :cat:

Good morning Staci!
Fantastic job managing the greens yesterday!
It's a cold sweat kind of trial & error, isn't it.
I hope Ivy clears this bounce fast and get back down (gently, girl, gently!).
Overall, she has more greens and blues! Good progress!
Have a great day, Staci :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Kit. It is a very cold sweat that overtakes us. And let’s try this carb of that. And so I give it now or wait? Oy. What a guessing game. (Not my best way of functioning for sure!) Major stress.
(I’ve lost weight from all of this, I know Shelly @Fistuk & Shelly said the same thing).
Between barely any sleep and stress….. it takes a toll.
Please tell Mikan to go slow today.
We shall see when Ivy breaks this ugly bounce

Hi Staci :)
I'm sorry to hear you've lost weight too. It's not the best or reason to lose weight. I can resonate deeply with the distress of not knowing for sure what to do. But hey, so far you've been ding such an amazing job with Ivy and it shows that you know about her, maybe more than you credit yourself to.
We're right behind you and I cheer you on for being such an amazing mum :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Wishing you a peaceful day

Thank you so much, Shelly :) I know you understand. I remember you mentioned the same issues. I just find this entire ball of was so overwhelming and the not knowing with confidence what the heck to do at any given moment. We just want to keep them safe at all times.
It's so helpful to have a network of others, as we do, to be able to support one another and brainstorm for answers and solutions.
I hope you are having a lovely day!! :bighug::kiss::bighug:

I know! I actually lost 10lb in the first 4 months or so of her diagnosis. I regained 4lb now.
Among my our friends, a running joke is that if you want to lose weight, get a cat with FD o_O

Hi Staci amd Ivy!

Hopefully today will be a steady amd peaceful.
No extreme acrobatics Ivy. Give mama a break.

Dang, I don't think I ever had that - I think I stress ate in the opposite direction (although her first go round was a couple of months before the pandemic hit, so I think I was just stress eating about a lot of things.)

I am sorry to hear that so many of you have had that happen. Staci - I hope Ivy starts evening out more so you can be less stressed! :bighug::bighug:

Thank you , Alicia. I think you either stress eat or stress lose weight.
We all have our own lovely ways of dealing.
(When I went through a divorce many years ago, I was a mess and lost a ton of weight. That was even worse. It was real bad.)
I sure hope Ivy steadies sooner rather than later too. I’m soooo tired.
I’m sure you were a wreck a few years ago with not the FD diagnosing the pandemic. Must have been really difficult. And getting supplies and seeing vets was super challenging. Ugh.
Thanks for your sweet support as always :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Never was I more thankful for a vet that did house calls than I was during the pandemic. She was super careful about going into people's homes. But yeah, supplies were a mess (and still are sometimes). I hope you're able to get some sleep tonight! Although, if you're in the same boat as a good amount of us, maybe a week of sleep would be helpful.

I can’t even imagine what that was like. You were very lucky to have a house call vet. I was taking Ivy to the office and had to wait in the car. And my regular vet was then out on maternity leave so I had to use other vets and still sit in the car. It was awful.
It was not a good time for anyone.

Sleep sounds awesome. I think I don’t know what that is anymore ;)

+4 58 on libre
Fed 1/4 tsp 9.25% to slow the sudden drop.
She’s been dropping over the past hour but picked up speed.
Would like to slow down a little to try to get some sleep sometime tonight.

I hope you managed to catch some sleep, Staci. Looks like Ivy has discovered a new pattern in her body and she's trying to find her way. I know how testing and nerve wrecking this can be. You're doing great :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks, Shelly. She’s sure trying on all the colors and patterns.
I didn’t climb into bed till 2:30 am then up at 5:30 am. Veryyyy tired.
:bighug::bighug:
Thanks for checking on us :)
