Good morning
We had a bit of a late bedtime ceremony last night. Fistuk fell into deep sleep after the yowling episode. The kind of sleep I'm familiar with when we had ongoing diarrhoea and constipation. He felt exhausted from trying to get through the discomfort.
He woke up after the +3 poke and went to the living room full of beans. Wanted to go out at minus 10!! to celebrate the snow maybe but he got a big fat No. So he started singing Pavarotti as he does. And at +4 a dramatic drop to 68. Luckily after food he relaxed and went to sleep - in his box and not next to me on the bed. Hasn't happened for months. But I welcomed the space
I was concerned I'd find him troubled this morning but looks like he got over it rather quickly. Unlike how it was before, he's gotten stronger.
Still, +3 this morning not to my liking but I didn't give him the PB so hopefully he'll get back to normal quickly.
All in all, I've learned a few things about Fistuk's regulated being:
It's just over 4 months since diagnosis and I think Fistuk's gone through a marvelous metamorphosis. I was really desperate back then. I lost 5 kg in a week from worry and distress (I didnt have much to spare already...). I'll be forever in gratitude for each one of you and your support.
Now, I'm aiming to keep things regular and routine for Fistuk until we feel it's a good point to go for an OTJ trial.
Wishing you an inspired Sunday

All in all, I've learned a few things about Fistuk's regulated being:
- Fistuk's not going to go below 68-that's he new lowest limit and he acts the way he used to when going below 50.
- He'll always have some low blues-that's his normal. ECID, after few months I get it

- His digestion is probably in good shape and it'll take a few more months to completely renew itself so I'll be very careful with introducing new PB, if at all. S. bouldarii is doing him good and perhaps it's enough for now. And I'm looking forward to Cecile's kefir grains

. Hope you and Fistuk have a wonderful day
