AUS AMPS 5.5 When to lower dose?

Bonnie dropped to 1U last week after 3 consecutive dark green readings. However today her PMPS was dark green and +2 was lower. at 4.9.
When do I next lower her dose? Obviously I can't wait for light green as it's a hypo so when is next drop in dose?
She did have a very stressful evening and I was away for the night so could that have caused the drop?

Congrats on the reducie. Since you are following SLGS you would reduce anytime you get a reading under 5mmol/L (90 mg/dl for our US folks). That 4.9 mmol/L (88 mg/dl) means you reduce to 0.75u next dose. Did you happen to get any further tests after the 4.9? That was fairly early in the cycle, so if you are able to get another test in to check and see how the numbers are going, that would be a good idea.

Yes I managed several more readings (until the other cat developed a major infection under her chin just to get in the lime light so we were bathing her and getting to the vet - it never rains it pours!!) They were all low and it's the longest green run she's ever had and her PMPS went into the blue just a bit b4 dinner) She has been incredibly happy and playful even upto her old tricks and squeezed herself under the side gate but couldn't get back. I thought a neighbour was knocking at my front door!! She's been very settled today especially as I was so stressed!! I'll reduce her dose. Thank you for your help.
