Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!

Kit did her usual +2 drop, and the dropped further into the 40s. I got more distracted than I should have so didn't get a test at +2.5. The MC snack at +2 didn't bring her up as much as it did the last couple of instances of below 50, so she got a second teaspoon of MC at +3. Maybe she thinks since its Thanksgiving she also needs the gravy?
 
So, my current feeding routine is to feed 3%ish at preshot, feed 5/6% at +1, and then adjust accordingly until I pick up her food. Because she's been dropping at +2 so much, should I maybe just start with the 5/6%? I would like to get those first few hours a little more gentle of a curve.

Interesting, Alicia. Please let us know how that works.
Based on your theory, I’m wondering if maybe I should apply a similar tactic. Ivy tends to do a deep dive at +3 and/or +4 mostly in the pm cycle. Wonder if I should be giving like 1/2 tsp. 9% with those snacks (she gets hourly 6% snacks in pm cycle) to prevent those deep dives. Might be worth a try to keep her flatter.

Wow! Kit cat loves to do the serious diving early on! I too think it's a great idea to get the higher carb to set a mellower base at preshot.
Hope she crises nicely from here on and you get to enjoy the evening.

Ha ha, I just got home from my sisters , took a piece of pumpkin pie home and she made an egg nog cream pie, boy was it delicious!
When she gave it to me to take home I said to her I couldn't eat another thing tonight , well guess what while typing on the board I finished off that egg nog pie that's how good it was. Nice and cold . Now I'm done for the night lol :bighug::bighug:
What was the dessert they didn't like

Oh yum! That sounds tasty!

I made a ritz cracker torte - basically a baked crust with whipped topping and shaved chocolate. I thought it was delish. Can't win 'em all, I guess.
