O. M. G. You are experienced! I wonder if I’ll ever feel that way. After a year plus at this I’m still freaked when Ivy goes real low.
Good for you!! :cat:

It helps that we know that he responds really nicely to carbs, and with the switch to Levemir his dives aren't nearly as steep as they used to be. We're also able to test very frequently because there's nearly always someone at home. So we usually have at least a little warning, and can manage the low numbers fairly well. He's also very good about being tested (usually). This morning he jumped up on the table and practically demanded that we poke him so he could get some of the good stuff. (He loves his FF w/gravy!)

Right now it looks like he's heading for a bit of a bounce, so I might actually get to sleep tonight...

Thats great that Levemir seems to have studied him out. I often wonder if that would be a better insulin for Ivy because she’s such an extreme diver and bouncer.
It’s good he is also carb sensitive. It takes higher carbs to bring Ivy up from a low number, her regular 6% doesn’t really do too much for her if I need additional help.
And it’s incredible that he wanted to be poked so he can get some gravy. Smart kitty. I hope you guys have a safe and pleasant day today, :bighug::bighug:
