Good morning,
Well that was a bit of a while ride last night around here. Right around +1.5 to +2 (through +4) Ivy decided she was going to break her bounce with gusto.
She dove to 44 on Libre sensor at +1.75.
(I did not ear prick because she never went into the “Lo” territory on the Libre, which usually corresponds to under 100 on the handheld meter)
I had to feed her some medium carb FF 15% a few times to try to pull her up a little bit and keep her from continuing to go down further for several hours.
Tried to keep her from earning reduction, which not sure if that was the right, move or not.
Of course this morning is a bounce.
**I have to go out this evening for a few hours tonight around +1 to +4 and I’m hoping she doesn’t do a major dive. I may add some 15% FF to her 6% meal and to her +1+2+3 snacks just to try to keep her elevated a little while I am out so my son doesn’t have too hard of time while he is watching her.
(does that seem like a good idea or does anybody have any other thoughts on how to keep her from diving to too low)?
Safe surfing to all you kitties and a mellow Saturday for all
