Not sure what's going on... :arghh: and I have to go to work today.
  • Heard Kona puking about 6:35am. It was clear with white foamy, smaller bubbles.
  • Her number was super high today, thought she would have cleared the bounce from yesterday.
  • She didn't eat her normal food, had to try something different.
Yesterday's Post

Today’s Summary
6:53am - AMPS 353
6:56am - Shot 1.25U
6:58am - Fed 1 can of TruLuxe Quick n Quirky (0.4 carbs) + 1 tablespoon of Weruva Wx Low Phos (0.0 carbs) + 0.5ml Nordic Naturals
7:12am - Didn't eat all her TruLuxe Quick n Quirky food noted above. She ate mostly just the liquid and some of the chicken. I gave her the rest of the can of the Weruva Wx Low Phos (0.0 carbs) that I took a tablespoon from. She goobbled that down!
7:25am - I ended up putting the food that Kona refused to eat and tried to give it to her sister Cleo. Kona was jealous... I was able to split it between the two and Kona kept looking over to her sister eating, then decided she DID want to eat it. SMH, she is playing games.

Automatic Feeder Schedule
8:00am - 1 teaspoon of TruLuxe Honor Roll
(2.9% carbs)
9:00am - 1 teaspoon of TruLuxe Honor Roll (2.9% carbs)
10:00am - 1 teaspoon of Weruva Wx Low Phos (0.0 carbs)

So relieved to come home to a number that is not pink. Kona puked the second I walked into the door, however unlike this morning I noticed grass in it, so I removed the wheatgrass as that is triggering something.

I was totally shocked to see that the automatic feeder I set up today in the spare bedroom where she sleeps was 10 feet away from where I set it and upside down... unbelievable, had to have been the evil sister Cleo. I'm joking... but she really is a freak with food. So it's safe to say that Cleo got in there and Kona probably didn't get any of the snacks I put out to help with the potential dive in BG. Maybe contributed to her lower PMPS...

The last few meals Kona has really slowed down eating her food... she is finishing it, but has me somewhat worried. I have all sorts of flavor options, so hopefully she is just bored with the same ol' same ol' Quick n Quirky I've been giving her.

6:43pm-7:00pm - Fed 1 can of TruLuxe Quick n Quirky (0.4 carbs) + 1 tablespoon of Weruva Wx Low Phos (0.0 carbs) + 1/2 packet of FortiFlora + 0.5ml Nordic Naturals + tablespoon of spring water

Upcoming Tasks:
8:00pm - Test BG
8:05pm - Feed no/low/med carb food as needed according to BG
9:00pm - Test BG
9:05pm - Feed no/low/med carb food as needed according to BG
.... maybe 10:00pm BG test, we will see what tricks she has tonight. I'm shooting kinda lower tonight.

Hope removing the wheatgrass takes care of the puking. A morning puke could be due to acid build-up from long gaps between meals.

Wow! Is an auto-feeder light enough for one of them to turn it upside down?!

It's normal for cats to eat less as they start seeing lower numbers. All of the symptoms of FD - excessive thirst, hunger, urination, weight loss start reducing and ultimately disappear as the cat's numbers improve.

Yeah, I think it's the grass. I used to give her fresh organic wheatgrass from the healthfood store weekly, but stopped for a few months. I think reintroducing it back again just a few days ago has to be the change that caused it. Bummer, she loves it.

It's not that light... it has two large ice blocks that sit in it to keep the food cold. I can't believe it. Cleo is something else... I know Kona wouldn't put that much effort into it. I gotta get the camera set up and share the footage of Cleo's ways...

We're trying hard! Would love to see everything improve.

My phone is full of photos of the two brats (and their poop and puke and whatnot!)

How funny! I obviously over post... and I almost took photos of her puke this morning and was going to post in my summary today in 4K high resolution, but I thought I spare the forum. ha ha

Well, pull up a photo or two and please share. :bighug:
