uggg... worst luck this morning, I think I did a furshot and she is super high this morning. I think I did a furshot last night too. I NEVER do furshots.

I'm out of town today for work, so not looking forward to coming home to see the PMPS.

I'm going to move Kona up to 1.25U tonight. I got 0.4 on ketones with the Precision Extra. I also put extra water in her food to keep her hydrated. I'll work from home tomorrow to watch her closely and will do more ketone tests.

6:43pm - Fed 1 can of TruLuxe Pretty in Pink (0.5%) and 2 teaspoons of Weruva Wx Phos Focused (0.0%) + 1/2 packet of FortiFlora + 0.5ml of Nordic Naturals Omega 3 for cats
7:00pm - Shot 1.25U

I don't think 0.4 on a blood ketone meter is anything to worry about. I read that with a blood glucose meter the time to get concerned is when the meter reads 2.4 to 2.55. That is when the ketones start showing up in the urine. Always good to get her to drink more water though

@Bandit's Mom thanks, you’re right, @Diane Tyler's Mom pointed that out to me a couple days ago as well.

I’m just being a worried, dramatic, dad. =)

She was totally fine with the extra water in the food, I’ll keep doing that. Pure Spring Water of course

Ketones dropped to 0.1 so I'm relaxed now. BG dropped to 234 on average of three tests on her +2, so I'm happy with that.

She's such a good baby to me. She is so easy with the testing, takes it like a champ and is such a sweetheart.
