Just looking at the ingredients, this food would be bad for any cat, diabetic or otherwise:


The ingredient list starts with "Chicken By-product Meal, Wheat, Ground Whole Grain Corn, Soybean Meal, Brewers Rice"

You gotta hand it to them, it's brilliant. Probably selling like hotcakes and driving lots of business to vet offices around the world.

Their marketing is fantastic, and if one doesn't look deeper at the product you'd think you are buying something that is great for your cat, with real meat, vitamins, omega-3s, etc. Disgusting.

Is the food not in the FOOD CHART? If not you’ll probably have to call or email the manufacturer.

Any freeze dried treats like PureBites and Vital Essential are fine. Also regular unseasoned chicken and baby food. Even those lickable sticks like the ones from Inaba Churu

You have to be careful with those Churu. They have Tapioca Starch in them which is a high carb ingredient.. And its the 3rd ingredient in most of the Churu.. It breaks down into a simple sugar

When I looked into it the carb % was low. Similar to baby food which also has starch

Thank you but I'm still not seeing were it says post new trend all I see is watched format watch trend and posts

Open a second tab for FDMB. You want to be looking at the main page for Health ("Feline Health - Welcome and Main Forum"). I think what you're looking at is the menu bar on the left side that's on the light blue line below the drawing of a cat and insulin vial. On the right side, opposite of those tabs, is a Search section. Below the Search, is a button labeled "Post New Thread." You need to be logged in to see most of this.
