Good morning :)

Fistuk kept me busy last night. He's been hungry all the time. He woke me up already at +11 wanting his breakfast. I have him 1tsp. normally that'll keep him off BF but he ate like a champion.

I'm still unpacking boxes LOL a month after the move. But not many left. mainly books. So I found this morning a forgotten cat poems book by the world's greatest poets. Here's one for you:

Tame Cat
It rests me to be among beautiful women
Why should one always lie about such matters?

I repeat:
It rests me to converse with beautiful women
Even though we talk nothing but nonsense,

The purring of the invisible antennae
Is both stimulating and delightful.
~Ezra Pound

Within you a purringly day :bighug:

Good morning, Shelly!

That's a great poem, I love it! Fistuk and Cooper are nearly matching BGs this morning—maybe they planned their green outfits for today. ;) So cute that Fistuk is waking you for food, though I am sure it isn't as cute being the one woken up lol!

Have a wonderful day! :)

Good morning, Shelly.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem :)
Such a nice way to start the day!

Glad to hear that Fistuk is eating well. Great job managing his BG last night.
Unpacking books always take extra long because I can't help turning pages :smuggrin::smuggrin:
But it's kind of like a Christmas morning - Enjoy! and have a great day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning Shelly and Fistuk, great job managing his numbers last night.
I see he pooped last night before supper, yay Fistuk.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem.
Tyler always wakes me up around 4:30 or 5:30 AM every morning.I have to drag myself out of bed lol. Have a nice day Shelly and scritches for Fistuk :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Good morning Shelley, thanks for sharing that beautiful poem.
Great job keeping Fustuk safe last night :D
Looks like he is enjoying beautiful cycles and knows just how to communicate with his mama. What a smart boy.
Have a safe and peaceful day today:bighug:

Good morning Shelly! I started using the automated feeder at night because I was so tired of waking up to feed her. She still asks sometimes, but that's more rare, she likes her routine.

Happy you liked the poem, Gabrielle. Looks like Fistuk and Cooper started the day together and found their way to a together mid. Though Cooper lived dangerously :)
No I don't enjoy being woken up lol but it helps me relax knowing that he'll ask for support when he need it :bighug:

I noticed a warm sense in my body when I read your words Christmas Day. Hmmmm Looking forward to some holiday time.
My husband learned how to test BG and give insulin so I can envision a time soon when he takes care of Fistuk in the morning so I could sleep. That'll be Christmas :joyful::bighug:

Hi Staci :) I do appreciated he was Fistuk communicates what he needs. We always had a good communication channel between us.
happy you like to the start the day with a power :bighug:

Hi Cecile :) Do you use a feeder for wet food? bc I don't give him dry food so I wonder if that works. That will be actually a great solution when I leave the house mid day and feel terribly guilty that I' not there to feed him.
Prince, Fistuk's brother, is a hoover. So I can't just leave food lying around for him to eat
Hope you're having a good day :bighug:

I use this 5-cups feeder from Chewy: https://www.chewy.com/petsafe-eatwell-5-meal-automatic-dog/dp/48079
It stays covered until it opens, so it's fine for wet food. I add water to it. We use it when we are away in the summer too, we have a sitter who comes twice a day and fills it. Bella does not eat dry food, she never has in the 6 years we've had her! She does not like it, and now she has only one tooth left :)

Thanks, Cecile. That's really great to know. Fistuk also has no teeth. Only the two canines at the front. He has some autoimmune disease that attacked his teeth and we had to remove them all in an operation 5 years ago. :bighug:
