Good morning everyone,
Mostly flat yellow day yesterday.
Maybe we could ask for some blue today?

Still licking and itching. Switched antihistamine to Zyrtec 5 mc 1x daily this am.
Let’s see if that makes a difference from the chlorpheniramine she’s been taking for allergies for several months.
I put a soft cone of shame on her overnight the last few nights to reduce the licking while I can’t watch her and to give it a rest.
(I’m sure she’s not thrilled about it but she seems herself when she sees me in the early am and is putting and giving me lots of affection.)
⬛Happy Halloween everyone, have a safe day :cat:

Good morning! Aw the cone of shame!! I think Ivy knows you are trying to help her and she thanks you for it! :cat: Now if she can just slide down today for you. Maybe she will be a fall leaf for Halloween and drift slowly downward (but not to the ground, mind you! LOL!).

Hi Gabrielle, I love the idea of a gentle leaf drifting gently down. I will share it with Ivy!
I hope Cooper is feeling great today and you have a calm day. Many hugs to you :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning Staci!
We both started pinky this morning (they like jumping together )
Hope Zyrtec works for her itchy skin.
Happy Halloween! Hope both our girls slide down safely (NO TRICK!)

Hi Staci! I wonder if what makes her itch is also the reason for her higher numbers. Does her skin look very red? Maybe it's infected?
Her skin doesn’t look very red. Just very mild in 2 spots. One spot she keeps licking through the tee shirt so it gets wet.
By using the cone overnight it dries the area, I'm trying to keep the area as dry as possible to see if that helps clear it up.
But great ideas try to figure out the puzzle. I appreciate your trying to think it through with me!!
If we don’t get anywhere, it may require a vet visit, which I’m trying to avoid since it’s such an ordeal and includes sedating her. She’s such a gremlin. :(

Hi Kit, I do think they both like to jump to pink in unison. Misery loves company?? :arghh:
I’m also hoping maybe Zyrtec does something different for her to help.
Gently gliding today for Mikan! Happy Halloween :bighug:

Hi Staci I really hope the zyrtec helps and you won't have to take her to the vet since it includes sedating her. Keeping my fingers crossed it helps
Have a nice day :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Thank you Diane! I hope it helps too. It’s such an ordeal. She’s a tough little one. Have a nice day, too :bighug::bighug::bighug:
