10/27 Smudge: AMPS 52, +1 51, +1.5 49, +2 57, +3 74, +6 69, PMPS 72, +4.5 74

I was just thinking that if he keeps on keepin' on, he'll earn a reduction Sunday morning to 2U

so naturally, he might not want to wait another couple days! When you get a 51, do you ever re-test immediately? I used to do that, hoping Hendrick would earn a reduction if I re-tested lol. It never worked, the 2nd test was always the same or just a tiny bit higher.

Whoa!!!!! Easy does it Smudge.
Alli, I hope you are home today!
Keeping all of your fans in the edge of our seat. Please stay safe :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I am!!! And he just squeaked in his classic 49 @ +1.5. Time for some MC. :bighug:

I don't ONLY because he's such a fresh boy with his pokes now... He gives me the fiesty no-claws arm grab, pretending he's gonna warning bite me. :p He just did it now with his +1.5 because he's so sick of my frequent morning tests on his throne (on top of my son's pillows on his bed like the king he is).

Reducie day!! congrats on the reduction!

I am just blown away! 4 reductions in 16 days. Thats crazy, right???

57 @ +2
Giving some more MC to keep him coasting. :D

not really, the crazy part is more that it took so little insulin therapy to get there. Once the magic of TR starts bringing that little pancreas back to life, some cats slide down the dosing ladder pretty quickly.

{edit} Yeah I just went and checked. Two Weeks of TR and he hit a breakthrough. That is simply redonkulous.

I think that was when @Wendy&Neko (I believe it was Wendy) said his body "snapped", as in, figured out what it's supposed to be doing. Woke that little pancreas up!!

Morning Alli , there goes that Mean Green Machine again :p
Congrats on the reduction. No biting mama Smudge ,we know you're getting annoyed with all the testing, but mama needs to keep you safe.:cat:
Glad to see Smudge is coming up.
Surf safely Smudge , have a nice day Alli :bighug::bighug::bighug::D

I'm so impressed by your capacity to manage low numbers, Alli. Well done :D:D:D
your comment on the number of reductions in the period of times made me count Fistuk's. It does seem like a lot. But when I feel Fistuk it feels right. And I think like @Hendrick Cuddleclaw said that it's incredibly beautiful that such little amount of TR insulin kicked in a beautiful healing process.
May it stay safe and joyful :bighug:

Fistuk has had so many for the month of October! It is very inspiring to see. You have done so wonderful for him with all he's been through! :bighug:

PMPS 72 and dose reduced to 2U.

I have to go out tonight, so gonna have to trust him til about +4. What was interesting about today's low number and eventual reduction, was that he ate 90% of his breakfast when it was put down for him, which he never does. It seemed like he knew his body needed food because his BG was low. Smartest boy!
