10/18 Eddie AMPS 344 +7.5 380 PMPS 367 +8 302

One good thing for today: I have yet to convince the IM vet of the pulse therapy but have had success with the regular vet (in fact, she is amazing and up to date on so many things. She's even heard of Cabergoline). She is prescribing Clindamycin (Antirobe) which is the recommended antibiotic for pulse therapy.

Some days are good. Now I'll be able to see how Eddie fares on antibiotics before the IGF-1 test results come back.

Clindamycin is a great AM for mouth issues, however it is very strong and kills the good tummy flora too. Make sure he's on a good probiotic - given at least a couple hours apart. I can personally atest to the power of Clindamycin on the tummy. :blackeye:

It's great the GP vet will prescribe it.

Thanks, Wendy, can you recommend an appropriate probiotic?

I used Renew Life products, but my vet has also recommended a Natural Factors one. I've seen probiotics that have package descriptions saying they are good to help counter the effects of antibiotics.
