Good morning,
High bg start to the morning. Last night Ivy took a few dips to better numbers.
At +3.5 it was a fast drop down to 116 on Libre.
I gave her 1/2 tsp 9.25% to try to slow her drop.

Yesterday was 1st full day on All 6% carbs (lowered from 9.25%). Not sure if the lower carbs kicked in that fast to give her that drop last night.

Hoping we see an overall lowering of numbers today and in the coming days. (Numbers have been way too high past week or more).

If bg doesn’t shift lower overall, how long until I should think about an increase after this carb/diet change?

The 116 was Libre (which will be higher on a handheld meter). Typically Libre reads somewhat lower, the handheld meter will be somewhat higher.

Being patient is the hardest thing in this business!
Well, we care so much about our babies and want so badly to see good results!
But you are making a solid ground for Ivy to do well now!
Hope she starts showing good response to 6% food!

You’re probably right, Deb. She needs to re-learn those blues.

Thanks Kit, I hope this helps her numbers come back down again.
Just wanted to be sure I wasn’t being remiss. But patience is key I guess.
