? 10/16 Eddie AMPS 155 +5 263 PMPS 374 +8 311

@Wendy&Neko
Just to keep things up to date: Eddie is having an IGF-1 test tomorrow (results in 8-10 days). The only reason is that it is a "requirement" to even consider him for Cabergoline.

I am at wit's end. As you know, Eddie and anesthesia are wrong for each other and I don't know what to do. He could get dental because he would have an anesthesiologist present but he also needs to be sedated for pre-tests as already mentioned. By the time all of this comes down, the highway leading to the coast may well be into wnter precarity. It's not to be driven in other words and that means not getting to the coast until spring unless I fly with Eddie and I know that would be a mistake.

I'm going to ask for antibiotics, maybe pulse treatment.

In the meantime, must I increase again? I just hate this.

Yes, this! There are too many unknowns at this point. This will be one way to know if dental inflammation is causing resistance (perhaps with IAA's help). If yes, then getting a dental may be a possibility. But if a dental is not a good idea, I've also seen some kidney cats here, who absolutely cannot have surgery, be on pulse ABs the rest of their life. It's an acceptable option. In Neko's case, she needed a dental, but for soft tissue gum growth interfering with her eating. Unfortunately, her heart said no to anaesthesia. And there was no work around. :(

I would increase. If AB's help, his dose may come down when it starts to work.

I flew with Neko to Denver, then drove from there to Fort Collins, mid November. Biggest mistake was booking the return flight the weekend before US Thanksgiving. :banghead: The snow on the road from Fort Collins back to Denver wasn't fun either. But at least it was mostly flat.
