I finally feel happy to see them, not nervous! I'm shocked that he stays so flat with the dose - I never expected him to so quickly.Wonderful to see Smudge responding so well to the reduction

Hoping his body has figured this out and we just keep going!And the best part is, he is playing ALL THE TIME. When we first got him home, he never did and we questioned if he even knew how to... Now we know he does and he does it plenty when he's feeling good.

This was towards the end of our playing session so he was lazy playing, but before this he was pouncing and attacking it. I'll get more when he's doing his dining table jungle gym time soon.

What always jumps out to me in these cases is how sick a cat can be, and how hopeless the situation can feel, but with the right person and mindset and medical care, how miraculous the recovery can seem. Good job Allie. You two had a rocky start but you’ve been a real advocate for Smudge and a willing learner. Watching Smudge play is absolutely heartwarming.
