Vaccinations (rabies and distemper) so she can have her dental done on the 31st... They were supposed to do blood work too but she got herself so worked up and wouldn't cooperate and she was panting so they quit. The vet brought her back in the room and I guess they had only done the rabies shot while in back (and attempted to get the blood sample) and so she brought the distemper shot in and i held her for that and she didn't even flinch, the vet couldn't believe it. I told her when we come back for the booster for the 28th that I'll hold her for her blood draw because I want the pre-op blood work done. I also told her that I will sign a paper acknowledging that I am going against their advice and will not be leaving Mouse there overnight after her dental. I guess they have that policy because owners weren't keeping their critters kenneled and calm when taking them home after surgery and they were jumping and climbing around and getting injured. I told her I will keep Mouse safe and monitor her.
