I had to do the things I had to do, I went out for half an hour, I came back, I left the house for half an hour, I went back home and so on all morning ... what a morning I was overwhelmed, it is normal that at night I am very tired and sleepy.
 
Sinver looks calmer than usual, I have stopped pricking him so much, the poor guy is tired, I will also measure at +6 to see how it goes... I am sorry to bother him, he is sleeping relaxed.
 
Hey! Some great cycles on this dose!

Had a feeling he was going to give you a lower cycle, when I saw that blue amps.

With a 49, as a newly diagnosed diabetic he has earned a reduction.

  1. On the TR protocol that we follow here, there is the option, for cats that don't hold reductions to take reductions to ',shave' the dose instead of taking the full O.25 reduction.
  2. Some people have found that taking a reduction when cat drops between 40-50 on three separate occasions works well for bouncy cats and those that don't hold reductions. So that might be an option for you.
  3. He is bouncy so another option is that if he bounces to pink at Pmps, that you might try the technique of shooting through the bounce. So you hold the dose tonight, if he bounces, and take him down to 1.5 tomorrow morning.f

  4. I he is still dark green at pmps I would take the reduction tonight.

Having said that, I'm not sure if Sinver falls into the category of having a tendancy not to hold his reductions. He hasn't held the last reduction, but really that's his first reduction on TR.

He did come up easily without using HC, so perhaps there's an argument for holding the dose. Remember though that it takes 3-4 cycles to see full the effect of the reduction, so if you hold this dose over this week weekend(public holiday here in Spain, tomorrow,), and his numbers are quite low, which I know you can monitor at the weekend, and you need to see him higher for the week ahead, (since next week is going to be particularly busy) you have to think ahead(2 or 3cycles) just bear that in mind.

Tenía la sensación de que te iba a dar un ciclo más bajo cuando vi el amps azul.



Con un 49, como diabético recién diagnosticado(menos de 12meses) se ha ganado una reducción.



  1. En el protocolo TR que seguimos aquí, existe la opción de que los gatos que no tienen reducciones realicen reducciones para "reducir una mijilla" la dosis en lugar de tomar la reducción completa de O.25.
  2. Algunas personas han descubierto que realizar una reducción cuando el gato cae entre 40 y 50 en tres ocasiones distintas funciona bien para los gatos saltarines y aquellos que no mantienen reducciones. Entonces esa podría ser una opción para ti.
  3. Él es saltarín, así que otra opción es que, si rebota hasta ponerse rosado en Pmps, podrías probar la técnica de disparar a través del rebote. Consiste de mantener la dosis esta noche, si rebota, y bájarla a 1,5 mañana por la mañana.i
  4. Si todavía está verde oscuro en pmps, aceptaría la reducción esta noche.



Dicho esto, no estoy seguro de si Sinver cae en la categoría de tener tendencia a no realizar sus reducciones. No ha mantenido la última reducción, pero realmente es su primera reducción en TR.


Se recuperó fácilmente sin usar HC, por lo que tal vez haya un argumento para mantener la dosis. Sin embargo, recuerde que se necesitan de 3 a 4 ciclos para ver el efecto completo de la reducción, por lo que si mantiene esta dosis durante el fin de semana de esta semana (día festivo aquí en España, mañana), y sus números son bastante bajos, sé que puedes controlarlo el fin de semana pero tendrás que tener en cuenta, que quizás necesites verlo más alto para la próxima semana (dado que la próxima semana estará particularmente ocupada), debes pensar con dos on tres ciclos de adelanto para bajar dosis y ver efecto deseado de niveles más altos para la semana que viene.
