Is it time to increase?

I realize I'm second-guessing myself. I know why. It's a terrible thought but I keep thinking about Blue and that I failed.

Still bouncing, might break it tonight. Please try to be patient. Any update on his teeth? How is Eddie feeling in general?

Try not to be too hard on yourself with Blue. :bighug::bighug: Heart things happen with acros, way more time than I like to have seen here. And most of them sneak up on their caregivers with no warning. You were just trying your best to make him better.

Still bouncing. Have yet to determine what to do about his teeth. For one thing, the risks of anesthesia are doubled with one test prior to dental surgery. I will be calling Western Canada this week to see what is possible because he will have to have the tests done there and if all is well, he will get surgery. If not, that is, if the tests show a problem, we will go home without surgery. And the other issue might be something bad happening, as with Blue, with the first tests. I'm kind of beside myself with worry.

In general, Eddie is doing ok. I mean his appetite is very good and I've all but cut out the Open Farm Salmon, which was is a MC. I dip the knife into it and touch the Open Farm Chicken, which is LC. so he seems to be happy with that.
He is drinking a little more water and peeing more copiously but that comes and goes. When his BG remains in the high to mid 300s, he pretty much keeps to his bed. When he's in the blue zone, he's much more active.
I am starting to think about Cabergoline. Maybe not for this very moment, but if this keeps up I'm concerned he'll develop even more problems. At the end of this month will be 12 months post SRT and I'm keeping an eye to that as well for I know--even from our previous conversations--that you had said you "have read and been told by CSU that it can take a couple years for full SRT effects to occur", so it's hard, really, to know what to do especially since ECID and Eddie often takes that to an extreme.

Sending you a hug for support Jodey. You are working so hard for Eddie and did for Blue as well. You didn’t fail Blue. And he knew your love.
Please be kind to yourself and give Eddie a hug, too :bighug::bighug::bighug:
