Cooper, what are you doing to me?

@Bron and Sheba (GA) @Bandit's Mom Thank you for your responses last night, I wish I had not fallen asleep! I have been really struggling these days because of all of the late nights lol. Since he is considered a "high dose kitty", should I reduce by 0.5U or just 0.25U? Also, lord, should I give the full dose this morning with him so low? He is worrying me!

Edited to add: I know we can shoot as low as 50, right? The question is can I shoot as low as that? Lol!

Good morning Gabrielle. You had a really rough not. I'm not in a position to give any advice, certainly not dosing. Hopefully Bhooma or drone are around for you soon. I'd be hesitant and reluctant as well to give the full dose. At the same time, if you feel up to it and prepared you might go low and learn how Cooper is like in HG and earn a reduction. As much as I didn't wish it upon Fistuk and myself, having three HG events I learned what he's like in these situation (and how I am like which was much was relaxed and not panicky as I imagined I'd be) that last night I was willing to take the. risk and not give him honey in order to pull him up.

Worth a thought - but please remember it's not an advice I don't have nearly the needed experience to give an advice!

Between 5U and 10u, dose changes are in multiples of 0.5U so you would go down to 6U

Okay, I think I will do this actually because I am feeling a little chicken this morning. Also my hesitancy is because he never wants to eat right away these days, so I know I will be panicking trying to get him to lol.

Wow, you are much braver than I! I think I should be prepared for this for sure, but I feel I perhaps don't have the same fortitude you all have as I have not been coping well on little sleep and the stress of things with Cooper LOL. Hopefully I will get better at it with time though! Thank you for sharing your experience!
