Good morning :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:

What a day Mikan had yesterday with a total of 17 BG testing :eek:
One reduction and barely escaping another.
Exciting to see low numbers but maybe a bit too exciting :rolleyes:

Now back in pink (not surprising, yet :banghead:) - hopefully no drama today :nailbiting:

My Diva worked me good for sure!
It's such a tricky thing - so happy to see the low numbers, but then, Ooooooh, too low! Red Alert!
But she was never symptomatic and well, just being herself, enjoying extra HC foods :rolleyes:
Hope it's a quite day today here.

It really was chaotic! I bet my BP was inversely related to her BG :rolleyes: Glad we got through.
The bouncy girl is having a fun chasing down the springy toy. Makes me so happy to see her being happy :bighug:

Good morning Angela, and again THANK YOU!
She climbed up to the sky this morning but is coming down (hopefully) somewhat.
Didn't eat very much at the preshot so I got her tested again a 1.5 and gave her LC 4%, which she was quite happy with.

That's what I've been telling Mikan, who is currently too busy chasing the springy toy all over the house :rolleyes:
I'm sure she can use a break from all those ear poking too (17 tests and some were multiple poking).
And I'm onto my 3rd cup of coffee now :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Wow, what a day you two had yesterday!! So scary, but glad everything went well! Mikan just wanted you to really get into the drama with her, maybe coax a few panicked gasps from you to really sell it to the crowd LOL. I hope today goes more smoothly for you both! :cat:

Ouch 17 tests. That’s rough. I would be a bloody mess from Ivy shredding me).
I’m glad that Mikan seems unaffected by it all by chasing her toy around. I’ll bet you need that coffee this morning.
Hoping for a calmer day today :bighug::bighug:

It really was a dramatic day! Mikan the main cast princess worked me over pretty good :rolleyes:
So far a very quiet day. At least for now! Hope she comes down a bit GRADUALLY!

Ya, 17 was the record for us.
And some of those had to be re-tested just to make sure that the number was for real.
She is a drama queen but a good test taker, thank goodness. But I have to go to her, pick her up, take her downstairs to test.
I got a serious number of steps yesterday just by getting her to test :p

The reduction at the PM cycle was Okay, but I really didn't want to take another one.
So relieved that she didn't go into the 30th (automatic reduction). Hope we can stay on this dose to help her learn to regulate better (and safely!)

Hi Diane!
I was able to go to bed at decent time but forgot to set my alarm :eek:
Mikan's brother Yuz got inpatient and woke me up this morning 15 min than usual. Phew!
I normally wake up before my alarm go off, but recent sleep deprivation got the best of me o_O
But I got a little extra sleep and feel pretty good!
