You're probably right, he looooves to bounce when we start seeing good numbers! Has to keep me on my toes. Happy Caturday!

Red preshots are frustrating:(
But he will drop down again:)
Up and down he goes, where he stops no one knows? :p

as probably mentioned, for some reason the AMPS number is almost always the most stubborn.

Used to frustrate me so with Hendrick, as we were making progress and I started to see record-low PMPS BGs (yellows and blues), his AMPS BGs were still pinks and reds!

Also, not sure if it has been mentioned yet but we often see active and inactive cycles. Basically, sometimes it seems like the insulin doesn't do much then other times, on the same dose with the same diet, you'll see a big drop from the pre-shot BG to your first test at +2 or 4. This can tip you off that it is an active cycle and you might need to plan for more BG checks.

That 2.25 depot should be gone now. C'mon Smudge, let's see what 2.5 can do! :bighug:

Based on his history I expect him to clear the bounce quickly and then perhaps have some extra downward momentum in the BGs, which can also result in later nadirs.

Let's goooooooooo

Ya, he'll clear the bounce and slide down!
Come down gently though! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
286 @ +3. A fairly smooth slide!

Thank you Kyle. Smudge's AMPS most definitely run higher than his PMPS. Hendrick must be calling him to tell him how to drive me crazy!

He had that flat PM cycle on 9/14 (or so I suspect with his +2). The active/inactive yo-yo is hard! I really just hope to have him get more and more blues soon without such wild swings.

I'll be checking at +6 & +9 today for sure. Cmon Smudge, show Kyle and Hendrick and everyone rooting for you what your 2.5 can do!

Oh Alli! It might be a long night :bighug::bighug:.
Did you give some LC after the test? Can you get a +3 or +4?
Yes, fed him more of his dinner he didn't finish. He's very good about knowing he needs to eat something and he asks before I even test! Smart boy.

Going to try for a +4, need some shut eye first. Barely slept last night.

Let's do the beach date! Mikan wants Smudge there! :bighug:
A midnight swim!

He hit a 95 @ + 6 back on 2.25 with a similar +2 so yeah, I do think a green nadir could happen! Go Smudge! :D

I remember those sleepless nights well. I actually learned to get bits of sleep sitting up on the couch with Hendrick on my lap, never thought that was possible. I would drift off for a couple hours from like 10-12, wake up, test...and depending on that BG, call it a night or zone out for another 2 hours and test again. Whew. Kept that up for a couple months I think.
