? 9/13 Smudge: AMPS 481, +3 298, +6 286, PMPS 384, +2 305— Dose advice?

481 @ AMPS.
Please stop bouncing, Smudge. :banghead:

Looking for increase advice for tomorrow AM. He's had 2 green nadirs, and a few blue, but he's bouncing all over every time he goes lower.

Kicking myself hard for not getting up last night for a +6, seeing how high he bounced this morning. :arghh:

I know how frustrating it is to see high preshots!
I have to remind myself time and again that preshots are the last to get low.
Smudge has been getting down to green every now and then and that's a great progress!
Looks like you've been on this dose for some time now. I'm tagging Bhooma @Bandit's Mom to have a look.

So frustrating!!! I feel like he bounces so high every time we get a nice low or a surf. Thank you for saying he's making great progress with the greens. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm doing something wrong to not get him there more often.
 
I think you can increase the dose tomorrow am as long as he doesn’t drop to lower greens before then.
There is nothing you can do about bouncing. The more he can get into greens and blues, the sooner he will get used to more normal BGs.
Good to see there are no ketones.

Oh so totally!
It's hard not to take this personally!
But @Angela & Cleo once told me, "it's diabetes", and I have to keep remind myself that it's Mikan who's in the driver's seat!
Smudge is definitely showing better nadirs. Celebrate small victories :):bighug::)

Looks like he has the potential to go blue today for a bit, which would be nice. I will plan to increase by 0.25 unless we see lower greens like you said.

I try to tell myself that too. I know we are less than a month into this, it's just the bouncing drives me crazy! It seems common from everyone's early-on spreadsheet, so I keep going back and looking at the early days of everyone here.
