After 10 Years, Michelangelo is OTJ!

Oh, wow!!! That's amazing. I didn't even know remission would be possible for him. How absolutely brilliant! :bighug:

I just saw this thread being bumped up and just WOW!

It truly gave me hope for my Mister! I had absolutely no idea remission could be achieved after so many years of battle!

Michelangelo was diagnosed all the way back in 2012 at 6 months old. For the last +10 years, he's been on Levemir ranging from .5u to 2u BID. His last dose of .25u was on 7/6/2023 at 8 pm for a BG of 126 and he's been below 120 ever since (usually between 80-100).

Congratulations!!! My Bailie was diagnosed Oct 30 2023 and it feels like he will never get regulated. This post gives me hope . Well done :bighug::bighug::bighug:
