She's been less than thrilled with me that I'm back at work and therefore gone for long stretches of time. But, listen silly goose, this is how you are provided with all those freeze dried treats, and how I keep you medicated. So calm down with the constant yelling at me because you moved 5 feet away and OH MY GOD I MUST KNOW BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T NOTICE WITH MY SUBPAR HUMAN SENSES.:rolleyes:

with the constant yelling at me
Same Here!! I went out for a work dinner a couple of nights ago and when I got home I was scolded so badly by Cleo. She stopped meowelling at me long enough to eat her snack but picked up where she left off when she was done. I was having flash backs of the Sicilian parent's verbal lashing from breaking curfew in my younger days.

:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful: How nice of her to take a break to snack!

And I don't know if it's a tricolor thing, or just because she's getting old, but she's SO LOUD about it. She also has a bit of an old lady raspy quality to her yell.

Some serious tortitude going on here! :p How old is Kit now?

She did get to at least 58 last night, not a bad nadir for the dose. Though might be still some influence from 0.75 unit depot. Let's see how she's doing when it's just 0.5 on it's own.

She turned 16 in April - she's got the tortitude and the old lady attitude. :joyful::joyful:
Other than the diabetes and the kidney disease, and the arthritis, she's actually in pretty good shape for her age. The vet has to help trim her claws (tortitude) - we stick her in this cloth bag that zips up with only her head out, that has velcro openings that her legs can be accessed through. She twists her body around so the holes don't line up, and the vet always comments on how she's much stronger than one would assume for a cat of her age.

Yeah, I know it takes a minute to drain the depot, it's those dang patience pants that I forget to wear.

My Neko used to get a little "spicy" at the vet. Especially for blood draws. In spite of her multiple conditions and bad arthritis too. Her regular vet didn't want me in the room, but I'd see towels, then a muzzle go in. I once got a blood draw and cysto done by her acupuncture vet. I was right there with her. No drama.

I have gotten lucky with her current vet, and the vet hospital I use for her dentals. Her current vet does home visits, and knows that Kit is calmer when I have a hold on her head while work is being done, and the vet hospital didn't at all question my request that they do the urine draw in the room so I could be in there, or that I might need to get her out of the kennel in the back after she woke up. And man do I love that after her previous vet, who literally told me I was going to kill my cat by not doing exactly what he said.

In case anyone thinks I'm snooping or have special powers
