Good Morning :)

Alarm didn't go off :D Got up at 8am!! our shot time.

Thank you @Gill & George the injection went in this morning almost without a pip. I think he just moved into "oh this is going to hurt I must resist" for a second but it was all over.

I think the roll up technique plus the bevel up really helped! I'm also convinced that when his BG is so high the shot is more painful. I noticed how he acts almost manically and he's extremely sensitive to every sound in the surrounding.

Im glad it helped, I was looking out for you this morning to see if it helped.

Quite possibly he feels bad and just wants to be left alone.

Hope he has a better day today

Looking pretty flat. Maybe get a test between +7 and +10? Thought it might be okay if you just want to take a break.
I was hoping you’d say that ;)
Think today is a good day for a break. I also need to break my tendency to rush forward as I know this journey will need more of my patience and perseverance xx

I agree grab one between +7 to +10. He's still locking flat, unlikely that he is going to do anything.
With half an eye on the next step, if he gives you nothing but pinkk or higher today and tomorrow morning it may be that you will be looking at a dose increase after 4 cycles. To do that it's helpful to be pretty certain that he hasn't dropped lower. So no major gaps in data.

Today I might err towards a +7 to+8 for that reason. But it's nor a big deal if it doesn't fit in with your day

Great! I’m home, catching up with work and rest so I can fit in any tests. Makes a lot of sense what you wrote and as @Bandit's Mom suggeated to I’ll get one between those times

You might just. I would let a +3 be my guide. Actually, it looks like he starts seeing action closer to +4 - if you go by the PM cycle of 8/23 and the AM cycle of 8/26.
ok. Interesting. I started taking a +2.5 because I thought that +2 doesn't show any onset yet. So yes, a +3 and a +4 make sense to me :) :bighug:

If you look at the 2 active cycles he has had - PM cycle of 8/23 and the AM cycle of 8/26 - he seems to be pretty flat till +2/+2.5 - the real action seems to be at +3 or even later. Maybe over the next few days you want to get a +3 or a +4 in the AM cycles to see if they are better indicators of an active cycle than +2/+2.5. In the AM cycle, he was actually higher at +2.5 and then dropped later in the cycle.

How is he?

I agree with the strategy for tonight.

A +2 or a +1 would be advisable if
  • He has a lower than normal ps
  • He is dropping at ps (eg +10 350 ps )
When you shoot as a bounce is breaking they you can find they drop fast and early, so you want to stay on top it.
You may also find that once you get to a good dose the apparent onset is earlier. I found that with George, in higher numbers, he didn't show any movement o e way or other at +1 or +2 ? But once we got to a good dose that changed.

That's good to know...

I actually took two ps. The first was 263 but his brother was moving around us, anxious to have supper and I thought that it wasn't enough blood for the test so I took another one and it was 394

He's had supper and gone to sleep. he got anxious again with the shot. got angry at me. But this time I was quite sure it's the fear and trauma and not painful.

He looks pretty deep in sleep and feels like still on the same number to me

:bighug::bighug: managing FD teaches us patience. Just keep following the protocol and increase safely until Fistuk gets to a breakthrough dose. In the meantime, enjoy the night off.
